My Love Letter to Forecasting: A Partner in My Business Journey

Hello, Readers

As I was thinking about promoting the next round of the Financial Forecasting Experience, I asked myself, why do I love Forecasting so much, and why am I so passionate about sharing it with others? This love letter to Forecasting flowed out as the result of that inquiry.

My love letter to Forecasting:

I love you forecasting. Let me count the ways.

I love how you’re there for me, even if I forget about you or neglect you for months.

Like an old friend ready to pick up where we left off.

I love how orderly you are.

I love how you contain us, me, and my business.

I love how visual you are. “I can see clearly now the rain has gone. I can see all obstacles in my way.” - Johnny Nash.

I love how you put things in perspective.

I love how you show me percentages of things, helping my brain.

I love how you compare predictions versus actuals and help me know more about what I know.

I love how you show me how I make money.

I love how you show me the unexpected and what I might not want to see.

I love how you tell me the truth.

I love how we create together, spending time in possibility.

I love how you heal me.

I love how you let me know it's safe to take a break.

I love how you inspire me to take action.

I love how you challenge me to ask for more.

I love how you give me a moment to pause and be grateful.

I love how you help me feel like a boss.

I love how you love me. Unbiased. Factual. Unconditional.

I love how you help me be more profitable.

I love that I can rely on you.

I love how you help me see what's really going well.

I love how you help me face what isn’t.

I love how you show me what to focus on.

I love how you predict the future.

I love how you are a vehicle for creation.

I love where we are going together.

Forecast, thanks for being there.

A partner in my business journey.

You've changed my life and the lives of so many others.

I’m grateful for you.

In love,

Carol
