Know Your Numbers, Love Your Numbers is a program that provides an organized framework for the regular practice of looking at the numbers and then making informed decisions that lead to greater profits.

When you take the time to look at what your numbers are and what you need and want them to be, the ideas and action steps come to you.

I have seen it happen time and time again. The magic is in looking at this gap and asking the question; what needs to happen to make more money in my business?

It is impossible to ask that question and get no answers.

I create a safe, nonjudgmental space to allow these answers to come in. I bring the system. You just show up.

I pace you. I draw you into the experience and lead you through it.

My intention is for you to feel held and cared for. You are the visionary; I help line up the details.

In his book Work the System, Sam Carpenter said,

We pay attention to the details so that they can support our dreams.

  • Having a plan for paying yourself, saving for taxes, building an emergency fund, setting aside funds to reinvest into your business and education as well as growing a team to support you.
  • How clearly knowing the numbers allows you to make high impact decisions that you weren’t able to make before. We don’t have this clarity when we manage cash based on our bank balance.
  • Knowing how much money you have to work with, what to do with it and how much revenue you need to meet your financial goals.
  • The generation of many new ideas of how to get money coming in NOW including marketing, pricing and sales strategies.
  • Having a clear list of actionable strategies to test and accountability to follow through on executing them.

Why did I create this program?

I created this program because I see a lot of entrepreneurs putting their heart, soul, money, and countless hours into their business only to lose money or not create enough profit to pay themselves. I see them:

  • Pricing their offerings too low
  • Overeducating themselves instead of claiming what they know NOW
  • Afraid to sell or simply not in the frame of mind of “asking for the sale.”
  • Over-giving
  • Not paying attention to the money
  • Not treating profit as necessary
  • Exhausting themselves and going broke following their dream

I want to change that. I am interested in strengthening entrepreneurs.

Why work with me?

I am in a unique position to help. I am a CPA as well as a gifted coach + listener with a strategic mindset who is obsessed with sales and marketing.

I have studied with amazing teachers like Jason Blumer and Ron Baker exploring the topic of unearthing value in my offerings and increasing how I value myself. Keeping my focus on value and integrating this focus into my sales process has made the difference between success and failure in my own business.

I speak the language of marketing through years of studying with Ali Brown, Jenny Fenig, and Amy Porterfield. I have sharpened my strategy skills with teachers like Joey Brannon, Joy Lizotte, Vern Harnish, Dan Sullivan, and currently with Todd Herman as part of his program, The 90 Day Year which is supercharging everything!

I am interested in helping women see the value they provide through their services and embrace how valuable they are to their customers.

This allows them to offer more; price higher and sell easily. Add in looking at the numbers in a strategic way and we can really start to see the needle move.

The Experience:

Coaching Call #1: To be conducted during the first month

1- Big Picture Strategic Visioning Virtual Session with Carol conducted via Skype or phone.

  • During this session I guide you through a process of discovering your dangers, opportunities, and strengths.
  • Bringing our dangers, opportunities, and strengths to light is foundational and provides a framework for moving forward highly conscious of these important elements at work.
  • Dangers can be avoided, strengths can be enhanced, and new opportunities come to light.

Strategy Session #1: To be conducted during the first month

Strategic Planning Session with Carol conducted via Skype or phone using google docs as a tool to plan together.

  • During this session we will develop your big vision goals for the year.
  • We will develop a detailed plan of how to get there, outlining strategies to execute on and mapping out how the details that will make it happen.
  • We will identify key metrics to track that will help us evaluate the effectiveness of the current strategies always course correcting with the goal of making a huge impact on reaching goals quickly
  • You will leave this call knowing exactly what moves to make next in your business with accountability for making it happen.

Strategy Session #2: To be conducted during the first month

Mapping out the Numbers Virtual Session with Carol conducted via Skype or phone using google docs as a tool to plan together.

  • During this session we will review your current financial position and look at your growth up until this point. We reflect on what has happened so far so we can learn from our experience.
  • Create a monthly financial forecast for your business for the next 12 months
  • Look at your monthly costs
  • Figure out how much you need/want to pay yourself
  • Plan how much money to put aside to save for taxes, emergency fund and future investments to grow your business
  • Determine how much revenue you need to meet your financial goals
  • Assess whether your current business model can meet your financial goals and if changes need to be made
  • Brainstorm how to get money coming in NOW including marketing, pricing and sales strategies as needed
  • Make sure you get all your accounting questions answered

Strategy + Coaching Calls #2-5: To be conducted during the third week of each month starting months 2-6

Monthly 2-hour coaching calls with Carol conducted via Skype or phone where we will:

  • Compare what actually happened to what we thought would happen
  • Adjust financial forecast
  • Update strategic plan evaluating what is working and what isn’t working and course correct
  • Redo monthly goals and action items
  • Work through anything else that is coming up for you as you grow your business

Application Process:

An application is required to be considered to be part of the Know Your Numbers, Love Your Numbers Financial Coaching + Strategy Program. Stepping up to this level is a commitment. I want to make sure you feel comfortable + confident + ready to rock the CEO role in your company. Up to 6 entrepreneurs will be accepted each quarter.
